Who are we? |
Founded in 1951
by a handful of friends, GNCC now has over 150 members across all age
groups, varied backgrounds and skill levels, from advanced to novice. |
|
What happens in the GNCC? |
Work is done in
different formats (color slides, black white prints, color prints,
digital photos etc) and can cover subjects as challenging as the mind can
imagine. In addition to workshops, lectures, travel shows and presentations,
GNCC provides members a platform to improve their skills.
Constructive criticism is offered via monthly critiques and friendly
competitions judged by qualified experts. |
|
When does the GNCC meet? |
Members meet
Thursday evenings at Great Neck Library in Great Neck.
In addition, members take field trips throughout the year to places of
interest in the New York area. These trips provide an opportunity to
experiment with different lenses and techniques, and to capture
different locations and subject matter. |
