A
member of the Great Neck Camra Club for more than twenty years,
James Pion has been editor of The Color Wheel, membership
chariperson and club president.
He has won awards in competition at Met Council, the Photographic
Federation of LI and North Shore hospital.
Jim credits
his success as an artist to a workshop he took many years ago with
the late Dr. Helen Manzer. He enjoys working with new members
and teaching them the basics of photography. His affiliation
with the PSA has been long and enjoyable. Jim is also an avid
birder, and holds a license to band birds. Just for fun, he
likes to fly state-of-the-art stunt kites at Jones Beach.
